Weather is crazy!

Hey guys!

I've been kind of lazy lately, thinking about how often I have been writing on here. So I'm sorry if you expected to hear from me more often, but there have been other things that needed my attention first. And even I wish that I had been writing a blog-update more often than I actually did.

The last couple of days we had about 80 degrees F, and today we had up to 85 degrees F (it's around 30 degrees C) - the sun was shining and there was not a cloud on the sky, it was such a beautiful day!

Lately we've been having fish almost every night, because of Lent - and I'm kind of getting tired of it even though it's made differently every time. I'm not saying I don't like it, just that I feel like a need a change soon (if my parents read this, please don't make fish the first 1-2 weeks - I still love even if you would make it)

That's all I got for you now!! Have a good time, until we meet again ;)

A little update

Hey there!
I was chatting with my dad earlier today and I told him that I think we should go back to Missouri together and visit my school St. Pius X High School, because there's a lot of teachers asking about him (my dad). And my dad was like: "That would be AWESOME!!!" - So I really hope that we are going to visit my family and friends in Missouri at some point...

I'm doing fantastic and I totally love it over here. And I apoligize for not updating my blog as often as some of you would like, but there is so much going on in my life right now that it is hard to find some time to sit down and write for about 10-15 minutes.

I almost just got home from Washington D.C. with the senior class at my school. We were at the March for Life, in other words we were saving babies. Meaning that we were walking because we are against abortion. It was an increddible experience, there were so many people, that you would have to hang on to your partner so you didn't end up getting lost. Before we arrived at Washington D.C. we spend a day in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where we got a guided tour of Gettysburg Battlefield - that's was amazing. I mean everything about that Pro Life Trip was amazing, so I could probably go on and on about what I liked the best. I think everthing was the best, and don't ever ask be about what my favorite thing was because everything is a favorite in its own special way.

That's all I got for now folks!

Love Sofie.

Half way through!

Hi folks!!

We're officially half way through our program!! Can you believe that?!?

I'm totally in love with my school, my friends and my family! It's amazing how fast the time goes by. There are two Chinese kids at my school who came last year and they stay until next year when they graduate... I don't think I could be away from my family for three whole years, I admire them for it! To say how much I love this time of my life: IT'S AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!! I love it SO much!

Don't have so much else to say!!

This is me, waiting for my ride, after school!
It was about 68 degrees Fahrenheit on January 6th, 2012!

News!

Hi guys!

There are so much going on in my life right now. I got interviewed for the newspaper last week, because my dad went to the same school as I'm going to this year. The interviewer was really sweet, she asked if my dad ever told us stories about his time at St. Pius X High School in Festus, MO. Of course i told her that I couldn't remember if he ever told us a story or not, he probably didn't. But then again, I don't remember.
My G'ma's oldest daughter, Anna, and her boyfriend, Zach, just moved in with us, so we are now six people in the house. I think it's nice to have a lot of people in the house, it's probably because we normally are five people in my house back in Denmark. And they have two dogs too, two Toy Poodles. They are kind of cute, but sometimes are they really annoying and you get tired of them in no time.
I have the time of life right now and I hope that the rest of my year in the United States of America are just as great. The Pius volleyball team won state, the soccer team are going to state - Go Lancers!! And the Cardinals won the world championship, seems like everything are going right the year I'm here. It's awesome!

Three months!!

Hi there!!

Now I've been her for about three months and I absolutely love it. But now I'm come to that point were I'm starting to missing my family and the everyday life at home in Denmark. They say that the first two/three months you don't think so much about home because everything is new and exciting. And then it starts to go down for a couple of days, but everything is going to be alright after those days.

There have been going so much on the last three months. The day before Halloween I went to a Haunted House with some friends and I had a really good time. I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be. And on Halloween I went over to a friends house, we watched SAW and just had a good time together. Yesterday I was at a friends birthday party, there was so much food. We were playing a dancing game on the xbox, and having a good time.

So long people!

Life!

Hi Guys.

There is so much going on in my life right now, and i'm really trying hard to write updates when ever I can.
Last Tuesday the St. Pius X choir went to St. Louis University (SLU) to sing the national anthem before a medical conference. I didn't think it was worth going all the way from Pius to SLU, to sing only one song. I had to get up at 4:15 am, so I could be at school at 6:15 because the bus left at 6:30. But I had a good time anyway - it just made me tired for the rest of the week.
The time is passing by sooo fast, I can't believe that I have already been here for over two months :o But I love it, even though our football doesn't win a single game... So when we are going to watch a football game, we start of with having a lot of faith in the Lancers, but then not so much. We still believe in them, but we just don't believe that we can win :/
On Sunday are we having a danish dinner, where of course i'm going to cook the main entrees. And everybody else is going to bring a side dish because it's apperently what they do when they go over to people for dinner. I can't wait to get some danish food. My parents are sending me a box of danish stuff, and it hasn't arrived yet and I can't wait to get it and look what they have send over to me.
That's all for now, I promise I will be better at writing on my blog..

Update!

Homecoming week is coming up, and I am soooo excited. Our theme is circus - it is going to be awesome!! I can say this much about our football team - could be better ;) I'm spending the weekend at the Utt's, because Nick and Melissa went camping and Boots is working. And I wanted to help building the float for the parade on Friday - soooo, here I am. If someone didn't know - I am having a great time over here!!!

I don't really know what else to write right now... I can't promise that i'll write on it every single day.
