Hi guys!
There are so much going on in my life right now. I got interviewed for the newspaper last week, because my dad went to the same school as I'm going to this year. The interviewer was really sweet, she asked if my dad ever told us stories about his time at St. Pius X High School in Festus, MO. Of course i told her that I couldn't remember if he ever told us a story or not, he probably didn't. But then again, I don't remember.
My G'ma's oldest daughter, Anna, and her boyfriend, Zach, just moved in with us, so we are now six people in the house. I think it's nice to have a lot of people in the house, it's probably because we normally are five people in my house back in Denmark. And they have two dogs too, two Toy Poodles. They are kind of cute, but sometimes are they really annoying and you get tired of them in no time.
I have the time of life right now and I hope that the rest of my year in the United States of America are just as great. The Pius volleyball team won state, the soccer team are going to state - Go Lancers!! And the Cardinals won the world championship, seems like everything are going right the year I'm here. It's awesome!
Later!

Three months!!
Hi there!!
Now I've been her for about three months and I absolutely love it. But now I'm come to that point were I'm starting to missing my family and the everyday life at home in Denmark. They say that the first two/three months you don't think so much about home because everything is new and exciting. And then it starts to go down for a couple of days, but everything is going to be alright after those days.
There have been going so much on the last three months. The day before Halloween I went to a Haunted House with some friends and I had a really good time. I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be. And on Halloween I went over to a friends house, we watched SAW and just had a good time together. Yesterday I was at a friends birthday party, there was so much food. We were playing a dancing game on the xbox, and having a good time.
So long people!

Life!
Hi Guys.
There is so much going on in my life right now, and i'm really trying hard to write updates when ever I can.
Last Tuesday the St. Pius X choir went to St. Louis University (SLU) to sing the national anthem before a medical conference. I didn't think it was worth going all the way from Pius to SLU, to sing only one song. I had to get up at 4:15 am, so I could be at school at 6:15 because the bus left at 6:30. But I had a good time anyway - it just made me tired for the rest of the week.
The time is passing by sooo fast, I can't believe that I have already been here for over two months :o But I love it, even though our football doesn't win a single game... So when we are going to watch a football game, we start of with having a lot of faith in the Lancers, but then not so much. We still believe in them, but we just don't believe that we can win :/
On Sunday are we having a danish dinner, where of course i'm going to cook the main entrees. And everybody else is going to bring a side dish because it's apperently what they do when they go over to people for dinner. I can't wait to get some danish food. My parents are sending me a box of danish stuff, and it hasn't arrived yet and I can't wait to get it and look what they have send over to me.
That's all for now, I promise I will be better at writing on my blog..
XOXO, Sofie

Homecoming week is coming up, and I am soooo excited. Our theme is circus - it is going to be awesome!! I can say this much about our football team - could be better ;) I'm spending the weekend at the Utt's, because Nick and Melissa went camping and Boots is working. And I wanted to help building the float for the parade on Friday - soooo, here I am. If someone didn't know - I am having a great time over here!!!
I don't really know what else to write right now... I can't promise that i'll write on it every single day.

HI!
First am I going to apologize for not been writing on my blog.
I had a good first week of school, everyone is nice to me and I have made some new friends. I like all of my classes so far, and I do not have a favorite right now. I'm in concert choir and we are going to sing at a mass on 31. of August, i'm actually excited about it. There is another foreign exchange student at St. Pius that is also a senior, her name is Tammie and she is from Switzerland. She knows english, but we need to speak slow when we're talking to her.
I don't know what else to tell you right now, sooo.
See ya!!

2/8-11 to 5/8-11
Hi everyone.
I'm now officially at my hostfamily.
Last Tuesday, all of us got to Copenhagen airport at time. We were supposed to fly from CPH at 12:25 but we waited a looooong time before we even could get on the plain. They told us that the plain had technical problems, so we played cards and talked while we were waiting. The time went fast when we first got on the plain and started flying. We arrived at Newark around 10:30-10:45 (New York time), so all of us were very tired. Most of us went to bed straight away but some ate dinner first and then went to bed.
Last Wednesday we had breakfast at 7 am. And the bus to NY left at 8 am, from the hotel. Where we saw a lot of Manhattan, we had a guide with us from 9 am to 1 pm. And he told us a lot of things about Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens and Bronx. He mostly told us about Manhattan, because it's the place you're thinking of if someone says "New York" or "New York City". At 1 pm we had our lunch and after that we walked round in Manhattan on our own. We pretty much did the same Thursday. But he didn't told us the same things, we got new information every time.
I posted the pictures on Facebook, and there is written something to almost every picture.
That's all for now, it's possible that I'm going to write more about the Soft Landing Camp in NY.

Visum
Hi there!

Love, Sofie.
